Jobs European is a simple job portal that connects non-EU candidates with employers in Italy and, step by step, in the rest of Europe. Everything is in clear English and designed for people who are not native speakers.
The platform is free for candidates and employers (for now). You create an account, publish a short ad or job offer, and then communicate safely through the portal until you decide to exchange email contacts.
On this page you can see how the portal works for both sides, what is allowed in ads, and how we keep communication safe and respectful.
- Register as a user
Create your free account with your name, surname, place of residence and email. Choose the option “I am a candidate”. - Create your job application ad
Title = your profession or target job (for example: “Waiter in Milan”, “Junior web developer”).
Body = a short description in simple English: who you are, your experience, languages, and what kind of job you are searching for.
Your name and email are saved in the system but are not visible in the public ad. - Search job offers
Go to the Job Listings page and use filters (location, type of job, keywords) to find offers that match your profile. - Apply through the portal
When you see an interesting job, click to open it and then click the button to apply. You can send a short message to the employer through the platform. - Manage messages with employers
Check your account inbox to read and reply to messages from employers. Please keep the conversation polite and clear. - Update or delete your ad
You can edit your application ad at any time if your situation changes, or delete it if you find a job or want to stop receiving offers.
- Register as a user
Create your free account with your name, surname, place of residence and email. Choose the option “I am an employer”. You can add your company name later in the job offer. - Publish a job offer
Title = the role you are searching for (for example: “Cook for Italian restaurant”, “Warehouse worker in Bologna”).
Body = requirements and job details: tasks, working hours, language level, location, and contract type. Use simple, clear English.
Your company email and personal data are saved in the system but are not visible in the public offer. - Receive applications
Candidates can apply to your offer directly from the portal. You will see their applications and messages in your account inbox. - Reply and manage communication
Answer candidates, ask for more information and plan possible interviews. Please stay polite, clear and honest about the job conditions. - Edit or close your offers
You can update your job offers if something changes, highlight them if this feature is active, or close them when the position is filled.
All first contacts between candidates and employers happen inside Jobs European. When a candidate applies to a job, the conversation starts in the internal messaging system of the portal.
The site administrator can see messages until the moment you decide to exchange email contacts. This is to protect users, reduce fraud and check that offers and applications respect the rules of the platform.
Please do not post personal contact information (email, phone, social media) in the public text of your ads, job offers or messages that are visible to everyone. Share this information only when you feel safe, and preferably after some first communication inside the portal.
If you receive abusive, fake or suspicious messages or offers, you can report them to the administrator, who can block users or remove content that does not respect the rules.
- Use simple, polite English in all messages.
- Do not share emails or phone numbers in public texts.
- Never send money to get a job or to publish an offer.
- Report any discrimination, abuse or spam.
To protect all users and keep the portal useful, every ad and job offer must follow some basic content rules. Please read them before you publish your application or your job offer.
The table below shows what is allowed and what is not allowed in public texts (titles, descriptions, public messages). These rules apply to both candidates and employers.
| Rule | Allowed | Not allowed |
|---|---|---|
| Respectful language | Polite and neutral language about candidates and jobs. | Insults, threats, hate speech or aggressive comments. |
| Discrimination | Describing legal requirements for the job (for example, work permit needed). | Discrimination based on nationality, gender, religion, race, age, disability or other personal factors. |
| Job and application details | Clear information about tasks, skills, location, language level and working conditions. | Fake offers, misleading information or hidden conditions. |
| Contact information | Contact details shared privately when both sides agree. | Email, phone number or social media links written in public titles, descriptions or public messages. |
| Advertising and spam | Legitimate job offers and serious candidate applications. | Spam, chain messages, promotion of unrelated services or links to unsafe websites. |
| Legal and safety | Jobs that respect local laws and safety standards. | Illegal activities, unsafe work, requests for money or personal documents before a real job process starts. |
Each user (candidate or employer) has one personal account with login email and password. Please choose a strong password and do not share it with other people.
Your account stores your profile information, your application ads or job offers, and your messages inside the portal. You can log in at any time to update your data, edit or delete your ads, and check new messages.
Jobs European keeps your data on secure servers and uses it only to provide the job portal service, as described in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use pages of the site.
- For now, the portal is in English only, to keep communication simple for everyone.
- The first focus is on jobs in Italy for non-EU candidates.
- Step by step, Jobs European plans to add more European countries.
- In the future, other languages like French and Arabic may be added.
You now know how Jobs European works for both candidates and employers, how communication is managed, and which rules you must follow for ads and applications.
Choose the path that is right for you and create your free account. You can always return to this page if you need a simple reminder of the steps.
