These Terms of Use explain how you can use the Jobs European portal (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Innovation R. ltd. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to follow these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Jobs European is designed mainly for non-EU people looking for jobs in Italy and, in the future, in other European countries. The Service is free for both candidates and employers, but you must respect the rules explained on this page.
We may offer the Service in more languages in the future, but for now these Terms are written and accepted in English. Please read them carefully and keep a copy for your records.
Jobs European is an online portal where candidates can publish job application ads and search for job offers, and where employers can publish job offers and receive applications. The Service allows you to:
- register as a candidate or employer;
- create, edit and remove your own ads or job offers;
- search and filter offers or applications;
- save favourite job listings;
- communicate with other users through the tools provided by the portal.
Jobs European only provides the technical platform and tools so that candidates and employers can find each other. We do not become a party to any employment contract or agreement between you and another user. We do not provide legal, immigration, or professional advice.
To use the Service you must:
- be at least 18 years old, or the legal age required to enter into contracts in your country;
- have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms;
- provide correct and complete information when registering and when using the Service.
When you register, you must choose if you are a candidate or an employer. You are responsible for all activities that happen under your account. You agree to:
- keep your login details secret and secure;
- not share your account with other people or companies;
- immediately inform us if you think someone else is using your account without permission.
We may refuse, limit or close accounts if we believe the information is false, incomplete, or if you are using the Service in a way that breaks these Terms or the law.
When you use Jobs European, you agree to:
- use clear, honest and respectful language in all ads, offers and messages;
- publish only information that is true, accurate and up to date to the best of your knowledge;
- respect all other users, regardless of nationality, religion, gender, age, disability or any other personal characteristic;
- follow all laws that apply in your country and in the country of the job offer or application;
- use the Service only for searching and offering real job opportunities and applications, not for other purposes.
You are fully responsible for the content you publish and for your communications and agreements with other users. You must carefully check any information you receive and make your own decisions about jobs, candidates and possible risks.
You must not use Jobs European to publish, send or promote any content or activity that is illegal, harmful or against these rules. In particular, it is strictly forbidden to:
- publish content that is discriminatory, racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or that promotes hatred or violence against any person or group;
- share threats, harassment, insults or other abusive language;
- publish fake, misleading or non-existent job offers or applications;
- publish offers for jobs that are clearly impossible, abusive or that violate labour, immigration or safety laws;
- offer or request any form of payment from candidates in order to view or apply to job offers, or to be considered for a position;
- use the Service to send spam, repeated messages, chain messages or advertisements not related to real job opportunities;
- organise or promote scams, fraud, pyramid schemes or similar activities;
- publish or request personal contact details (such as private email address, phone number, home address, social media accounts) directly in the public text of ads or offers, if this is against our portal rules;
- publish content that contains pornography, sexual services, human trafficking, forced labour, or any other serious abuse;
- promote or participate in any illegal activity.
We may remove or hide any content that we believe breaks these rules, and we may report serious cases to the competent authorities.
Jobs European is only an intermediary platform that connects candidates and employers. We do not check or guarantee:
- that any job offer or application is true, complete or up to date;
- that any candidate or employer has the legal right to work, hire or offer a position in a specific country;
- that you will obtain a job, an interview or a specific result by using the Service;
- that communications and agreements between users will be honest, safe or successful.
All content on the portal is provided by users under their own responsibility. We may perform basic checks or moderation, but we have no obligation to verify all content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jobs European and Innovation R. ltd are not responsible for any direct or indirect damage, loss of data, loss of opportunity, financial loss or other harm that may result from your use of the Service, your interactions with other users, or your decision to accept or refuse a job offer.
We reserve the right, at our discretion, to limit, suspend or close your account and to remove or hide your content if:
- you break these Terms or other rules published on the website;
- we receive serious or repeated complaints about your behaviour or your content;
- we believe your account has been used for scams, illegal activities or serious abuse;
- we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority.
In less serious situations, we may first send you a warning and ask you to change or remove some content. In serious cases, we may act immediately without warning.
You can close your account at any time using the tools provided in the portal, or by contacting us. Closing your account does not cancel these Terms for actions that happened before closure, and we may keep some information as explained in our Privacy Policy.
All rights to the Jobs European website and Service, including design, layout, logos, trademarks, texts, graphics and software, belong to Innovation R. ltd or to our licensors. You may use the Service only as described in these Terms and for personal or internal business use related to job searching and recruiting.
When you publish content (for example, applications, job offers, descriptions or images) you keep the ownership of your content, but you give Jobs European a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, reproduce, modify, display and distribute that content only as necessary to operate, improve and promote the Service.
You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed to publish your content and to give us this licence, and that your content does not break the rights of other people or organisations.
We are constantly working to improve Jobs European. For this reason, we may change, add or remove parts of the Service at any time, for example by introducing new functions, changing the design, or stopping some features.
We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we make important changes, we will try to inform you in a clear way, for example by publishing a notice on the website, updating the date of the Terms, or sending you an email or in-portal message.
If you continue to use the Service after the new version of the Terms becomes effective, this means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Service and close your account.
These Terms of Use, and any dispute or claim related to your use of Jobs European, will be governed by the laws that apply in the country where Innovation R. ltd has its registered office, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Unless a mandatory law gives you a different right, the competent courts of that same country will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute related to these Terms or to the Service. We both agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If you have any questions about these Terms of Use or about how Jobs European works, you can contact us by email at: info@job-offers.online.
We will do our best to answer you in clear and simple English and to help you use the Service in a safe and informed way.
